Department description / job purpose / role:


Enterprise IT infrastructure typically refers to components required for the existence, operation and management of an enterprise IT environment. It can be internal to an organization and deployed within owned facilities, or deployed within a cloud computing system, or a combination thereof. An IT infrastructure consists of a set of physical devices and software applications that are required to operate the entire enterprise. In IT Insfrastructure Procurement, we purchase integrated IT solutions in the areas of:  Cloud Services, Datacenter Colocation, Network & Communication technologies, Workplace & End-user services, Compute & Storage solutions, and Security.


Key Requirements:


  • Support Procurement Experts to Manage and control complex sourcing projects for IT Infrastructure global category, support Procurement Experts in coordinating the respective stakeholders (e.g.,manage sourcing project could mean: TCO/ROI calculations, baselining, escalations, prepare management decisions, implementation, communication/information, alignment with purchasing procedures and policies, RFx, Market analysis, etc.)
  • Prepare planning documentation and related documents for Procurement Experts to Represent interests of Allianz Group in negotiations and negotiate terms, conditions on contract to best criteria of quality and sustainability
  • Track and Support to conclusion of contracts to signature with best in class solutions
  • Support to Identify and drive standardization, authoring pooling of demand and process optimization potentials across OEs to best leverage Allianz purchasing power by setting up appropriate means of data capture for supporting Procurement Expert analysis
  • Maintain pricing databases in Facilitation of purchasing models with focus on automation of tools and systems
  • 16-20 hours/week for working student and 38 hours/week for interns




  • Academic degree or studying to attain
  • Job-related international experienced
  • English and German: fluent in spoken and written
  • Basic Project Management skills
