Job Purpose/Role 

 

The IT Governance Risk and Compliance Senior Compliance specialist positions reports to the AGCS IT Technical Director-GRC.

 

You will be responsible for driving the implementation, documentation, and improvement of Group compliance standards within AGCS IT Globally. Additionally, you will play an active role within the team to implement the IT internal control set up for 2022 on AGCS side and mature the post Gearshift control set-up. Finally, you will proactively coordinate the response to internal and external audit findings (such as external audits and ICOFR/Sarbanes Oxley requirements).


Responsibilities

 

In this role you will…

 

IT Group Compliance and IT Risk Management


•    Be responsible to update the review of corporate compliance documents, including the Policy and Functional Rules of AGCS based on AZ Group documentation and guidelines.
•    Coordination with AGCS Legal entities to promote transparency of current AGCS compliance standards and adoption of IT Operating model
•    Assist with inquiries from Legal and regulatory entities, coordinating and facilitating responses to inquiries for IT information. 
•    Drive and promote Compliance by design at AGCS to facilitate group annual IT Compliance Self-Assessment
•    Facilitate Integrated Information Risk Management process for IT, including risk assessments of Business Applications and IT Services. 
•    Support IT risk assessment process and reporting in RSA Archer

 

IT Internal Controls reviews (ICOFR)


•    Work directly with IT Management and staff to ensure appropriate documentation and ownership over the 2022 risk management controls and their related set-up post Gearshift.
•    Oversee ICOFR control testing and communication with annual external auditors to ensure compliance with corporate standards and industry best practices(COBIT, ITIL).
•    Review maturity of existing IT controls, working with stakeholders and Risk Management to continuously improve and globalize processes.

 

Audit Coordination


•    Oversee and support coordination of the audit reviews with IT staff. 
•    Work directly with internal and external auditors to facilitate review process. 
•    Supervise monitoring and reporting on all audit findings, including non-IT audits where IT findings are determined.
•    Support the monitoring of external regulations and collect evidence for external audit requests
                                        

To be successful in the role:

 

You will have…

 

•    A minimum of 10 years of IT Professional experience (ideally in financial services/insurance sector) 
•    Experience in IT Risk Management and/or IT controls 
•    Capability to manage project/tasks in a global environment with remote teams
•    Strong appreciation of risks and controls applicable
•    Understanding of IT audit processes and practices
•    Strong analytical skills with an ability to take initiative 
•    Strong communication and presentation skills combined with the ability to tailor communication 
•    Team Management experience and good teamwork skills
•    Master degree in IT or Business Administration 
•    Very good command of the English language (verbal and written) is mandatory. 


Ideally you will also have…

 

•    Experience in handling of IT Audit & Internal control and ICOFR/SOX Compliance
•    Experience in working in COBIT-19 Framework
•    Experience in working in an Agile environment, ideally with SAFe Framework.
•    Other languages, especially German would be a plus.
