The Life Reserve Calculation department in the Actuarial Department of Allianz Italia is looking for a Life Actuary.
The Life Reserve department covers the following areas of responsibility, for all the Italian Life Companies of the Group:

• Statutory and IFRS reserve calculation: valuation and validation of statutory & IFRS reserve and maintenance of the reserve platform calculation. Deep dive analysis of the new IFRS 17 reserve items through analysis of movement and valuation of the impact in terms of operating profit 
• SII Technical Provision calculation: valuation of SII Technical Provision, Analysis of movement, sensitivities analysis and QRT’s reporting activity
• IAS 19 valuation: calculation of the provision for the employee benefits
• Cash flow calculation: cash flow projection provided to finance department for assess the ALM strategy as well as for supporting the assessment of additional provision for interest rate risk  
• Reporting activity: prepare documentation requested by the local regulator and provide reports for disclose the reserve results under different accounting principles and for supporting the audit process and the activity of the actuarial function 

 
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
 

• Master’s degree in Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics,  Economics (with a strong quantitative specialization) or equivalent background 
• Experience (2/3 years) in Life or Consultancy Actuarial departments  
• Knowledge actuarial software or equivalent (e.g. RAFM / PROPHET)
• Sound technical knowledge connected with programming skills
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office applications as well as familiarity  in working with data bases
• Team spirit, self-motivation and a proactive and committed working style
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Fluency in Italian and English, written and spoken
