JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

The candidate would be required to provide support to Actuarial Management and IT Coordination Office of Allianz Bancassurance Life Department carrying out the following activities:

• analysing the characteristics of products and related insurance processes for the Bancassurance Department (UniCredit Allianz Vita company), to identify the aspects that will have to be developed informatically on the systems used by the company
• interfacing with Information Systems and, based on the analyses carried out, preparing the necessary specifications for IT developments in line with the work plan
• carry out tests of IT releases relating to new functionalities
• inserting all the algorithms and rules enabling the correct technical-actuarial management of the portfolio into the company's computer systems
• supporting in the production of periodic and one-off reports
• providing technical assistance about the IT systems used by the company
• preparing notes and operating manuals for users for the correct use of the IT systems used.
• providing technical support to other units in the Department and banks in handling customer requests (details, transaction recalculations).

The candidate will be working alongside senior resources and will have to prepare functional  analysis of insurance products and processes, and prepare the specifications for IT and carry out the test phase.

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Master’s degree in mathematics, statistics or actuarial sciences or equivalent required.
• Work experience in the insurance sector: maximum two years.
• Fluent Italian and English language, written and spoken.
• Excellent knowledge of Office 365 is required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Access for database management is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of SAS for database inquiry is preferred.
