DISTRIBUTION PLANNING AND CONTROLLING SPECIALIST

JOB PURPOSE/ROLE
The successful candidate will join Allianz Distribution Planning & Controlling Team, conducting in-depth analysis on Agency channel performance, identifying growth opportunities and supporting the development and implementation of strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting. Previous experience in the insurance industry would be a plus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform data analysis to support decision-making processes and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Monitor and report on the implementation of strategic initiatives and their impact on business performance.
- Support senior leadership in the development of presentations and reports for executive meetings and board discussions.
- Utilize Power BI to create, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and support for special projects as needed.
KEY REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management Engineering or equivalent
- Significant experience (e.g. 5 years) as Business Analyst, with a focus on the insurance industry
- Proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query
- Knowledge of SAS Enterprise Guide is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Fluent in Italian and English
