We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented Working Student (f/m/d) preferably for 12 months. This position will be based in our office in Munich Schwabing.

 

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

Allianz Group’s engine for business transformation is the H10 division. The division is headed by the  Chief Business Transformation Officer (CBTO), a member of the Board of Management at Allianz SE. The CBTO is in charge of the areas Business Transformation (BT), Group Data Analytics (GDA), and the insurance businesses in the IberoLatAm region (Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and Argentina) as well as Allianz X.

The CBTO Office is the support function for the CBTO and covers organization, operation, strategy, business and communications. The H10 Business Division (BD) IberoLatAm and Allianz X supports the Board Member in key strategic topics around the H10 insurance businesses and acts as a facilitator for the interaction between OEs (Operating Entities) and the different Group Centers, ensuring OE topics are addressed and understood at the holding level. Towards the OEs, the BD also acts in the interest of Allianz Group.

 

JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

As a member of the H10 Business Division and Chief Business Transformation Officer Board Office , you will be working closely together with the BD Head and all corresponding OEs, as well as the H10 Board Office team. Through direct interaction with different management levels, you will gain deep knowledge across a multitude of key topics in the transformation business across all H10 areas. You will be supporting the BD and CBTO Office teams in their day-to-day business as well as take on individual project work.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will support the BD and CBTO team by:

  • Preparing content for management meetings
  • Conducting market research on various topics
  • Preparing market and OE dashboards
  • Supporting various communication activities, such as H10 town halls and other internal events (e.g., offsites), external events and speeches
  • Administrative and coordination tasks
  • Other BD- and CBTO-related activities as required

 

 

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate has a keen interest in international financial markets and the insurance industry. Given the exposure provided in this role, the candidate needs to be prepared to deal with different profiles on a day-to-day basis and enjoys working in a diverse and highly energetic environment. In particular, we are looking for the following capabilities / experience:

 

  • You are an enrolled student in a university from a top-tier university in business administration, economics, finance or related field of study
  • Some experience in strategy and / or consulting are highly regarded
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop a network in short amount of time
  • Ability to quickly understand multiple topics and come up with innovative and creative ideas
  • Excellent analytical and visualization skills, structured problem solving ability, and very reliable working style
  • Highly energetic, proactive and result-oriented attitude
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (in particular MS PowerPoint and MS Excel) is a must
  • Fluency in business English. German and any additional languages are a plus
