Department description / job purpose / role:

 

Executive Events is responsible for conceptualizing, planning and producing of events for executives worldwide. This includes the preparation and production of one-off events as well as event series. All events are produced in a project structure. In your role as Working Student Executive Events – Project Office you will become part of an international team preparing an event in summer 2022, which will be attended by athletes from over 40 countries competing in 102 disciplines across 14 sports.

 

Your key responsibilities will be the following:

 

•             Coordination of an international project team

•             Preparation, production and follow-up to international meetings, workshops and video conferences

•             Project controlling and reporting

•             Budget controlling and reporting

•             Supplier management

•             Contract and invoice management

•             Administrative support of the project team

 

Qualification
(education, trainings, certificates, special IT skills - e.g coding languages + specific software skills, language skills, etc.):

 

  • Student with a concentration in Business Administration, Controlling, Sports Marketing or Event Marketing
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge (Word, advanced Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken) is mandatory for this position
  • Intermediate level of Spanish (written and spoken) is useful for this position

•             Active athlete or strong interest in sports

•             Flexible, proactive and good team player

•             Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills

•             Ambitious, highly motivated, fast learner

•             Accuracy, discretion, stress-resistance and reliability are must-haves

•             Basic project management experience

•             Good communications and excellent organizational skills
