Who will you be joining?


The P&C Center of Competence (CoC) within Group Risk ensures excellence in P&C risk management and risk modelling for the Allianz Group and subsidiaries.


The CoC is the business partner to enhance best practice P&C risk and accumulation management across the Allianz Group. It owns and is subject matter expert of the PC Cat accumulation management framework as well as the underwriting risk model. Tasks include developing best practices, guidelines, governance and support for P&C Cat accumulation management as well as the internal risk capital model and the standard model.


 

How can you make an impact?

 

You will:

  • Be responsible for the P&C Cat accumulation management framework within AZ Group. Your focus will be P&C ManMade Cat accumulation management including Cyber UW risk. 
  • Stay abreast of market practice, drive innovation in your area and communicate, support and provide guidance to Allianz subsidiaries as well as other Group functions.
  • Develop methods, trainings as well as facilitating discussions with management 
  • Be responsible for selected subsidiaries, oversee their PC Cat accumulation risk and monitor accumulations. 
  • Lead and contribute to projects where expertise from various areas and countries are brought together to e.g. build scenarios to measure accumulations.

 

What are you made of?

 

  • You have a deep understanding of the PC insurance business and the related risks as well as accumulation management
  • Master’s degree in finance, insurance, mathematics, statistics, actuarial or equivalent
  • 6+ years working experience, preferable in technical underwriting, accumulation management, actuarial and/ or risk areas
  • Fluency in business English (written and spoken) is mandatory
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Power Point, Excel, Word)
  • Experience with accumulation management and Solvency II knowledge is a plus 
  • Knowledge of simulation software or Catastrophe software is a plus (e.g. RMS, AIR)
  • Previous experience in business related functions (i.e. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting,  Product Development, Finance, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus.
  • You are motivated and have excellent analytical and communication skills plus the ability to work independently and in a team environment 
  • You are willing to take responsibility in your area of expertise 
  • You are interested to further extend your knowledge in the heart of an international group 
  • You strive to make a difference and happy to join an international team
