JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

In the team Global Solutions you are integrated in an expert team with a highly diversified range of topics – IFRS9, Local Data Warehouses, Compliance Cockpit, QRT. We are responsible for the performance of the IFRS9 SPPI test through a central based SPPI assessment approach and the central calculation of ECL and Stage Allocation.

To meet these challenges, we are looking for a Financial Data Analyst with comprehensive financial market knowledge to strengthen our team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take over ownership for the services provided by our team
  • Assessment of financial assets’ contractual cash flows according to IFRS 9 based criteria
  • Support for our customers worldwide, including support for ad-hoc customer inquiries associated with expert judgments
  • Proactively identify process improvements and work with experts from other departments to ensure the continuous improvement of our services
  • Ensure smooth data processing and the achievement of agreed data quality standards in close cooperation with the team, developers and external providers

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • University degree in finance, accounting, business administration, law or economics and/or comparable professional experience
  • Good capital market and/or fixed income knowledge or experience with the investment process
  • Investment accounting experience is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of IFRS9 Standard
  • High data affinity and experience in data analysis, preferably with relational databases (SQL, PL/SQL)
  • Strong analytical approach and the ability to take initiative and to complete multiple tasks within tight deadlines
  • Customer-focused mindset and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Open to new challenges and eager to learn new methods and tools and to share knowledge
  • An enthusiastic approach to team work paired with creativity
  • Fluent in English and good German
