Job Purpose/Role

You will be part of the Private Markets Tax Team of Allianz Capital Partners. Our Team is responsible for transaction, asset management, fund product and tax compliance related tax topics of all our business lines during the structuring process, the investor onboarding and the investment phase as well as for tax compliance matters. Our business lines include Private Equity, Private Debt, Indirect and Direct Infrastructure as well as Renewables investments. Your core responsibility will be the tax coverage of our Direct Infrastructure and Renewables business lines including investments, divestments, restructurings, financing as well as the asset management phase. The position will be based in Munich or Frankfurt.

What you will do

·         Covering all tax related matters of investments and divestments including the tax due diligence, structuring and documentation in close exchange with the ACP Legal and Deal Teams

·         Analysis of tax effect impacts on investment yield modelling

·         Supporting the preparation of investment proposals for approval by the relevant investment committees and aligning with the Allianz Group tax function and relevant stakeholders

·         Coordinating domestic and foreign external tax advisors

·         Covering the tax relevant asset management topics of our infrastructure and renewables portfolio including, i.a., refinancings, recapitalizations, withholding tax processes, CFC tax analysis, tax risk management etc.

·         Providing advice on specific tax projects relating to the infrastructure and renewables portfolio

·         Aligning tax topics of our investments with the ACP Tax Compliance Team

·         Monitoring of local/international tax law changes relevant for our funds

·         Supporting in tax matters of our funds investing in infrastructure and renewables targets

What you bring

·         Qualified tax advisor and/or lawyer with a degree above average

·         At least 6/(8) years of relevant professional experience in M&A and international taxation

·         Strong analytical skills with the ability to deal with internal and external clients and to prioritize tasks

·         Commitment, comprehension, and team orientation

·         Very good command of English and German

·         Very good knowledge of MS-Office applications, especially MS Excel
