Job Purpose/Role

 

We are looking for you! To support the growth of our Private Markets Platform, we are seeking to recruit a Vendor Manager (f/m/d) to strengthen our Private Markets Operations team in Frankfurt or Luxembourg with immediate effect. This position combines a broad range of responsibilities and focuses on the business line of all Private Markets assets managed and administered by Allianz Capital Partners globally.

 

You will become part of the Private Markets Buildout Team and report into our Head of Private Markets Operations. You will join an experienced team of experts in an international environment.

 

 

What you will do

 

  • Maintain and steer the relationship with all main service providers for our fund activities and connected services

  • This includes vendors on fund accounting, transfer agency, fund audit, loan administration, taxation etc.

  • Organize, prepare, host and document regular service review meetings with vendors

  • Track status and (if required) coordinate change requests with vendors

  • Maintain database with all vendors incl. tracking of budget and spent figures

  • Central point of contact for risk assessments on service providers including one-off and annually recurring outsourcing notification tasks and interaction with Regulator(s)

  • Conduct regular (on site) due diligence visits and vendors

  • Main contact for and orchestration of due diligence from third parties on Allianz Capital Partners

  • Monitor vendor deliverables and obligations proactively, including negotiation of contracts and discussions on service quality / incident mitigation

  • Contact point for vendor related projects and audit

  • Verify supplier charges and support reporting as well as budgeting

 

 

What you bring

 

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a comparable degree program

  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in the area of vendor management or related role

  • Familiarity with Vendor & Contract Management practices

  • Exposure to international outsourcing partners

  • Familiarity with finance/investment industry or IT industry, Asset Management is a plus

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Detail-oriented and organized

  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities

  • Certifications: ITIL Foundation, Prince2 Foundation, Six Sigma or IACCM (preferred)

  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint and openness to new digital solutions and first experience in tools such as PowerBI is a plus

  • Strong analytical skills and a structured, independent working style

  • A high level of motivation, excellent communication skills, strong team spirit and willingness to take on responsibility

  • Fluent written and oral English required, working knowledge of German a plus
