We are looking for you! We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented Senior Portfolio Manager (f/m/d) to expand our Systematic Equity group; an active, highly diversified equity portfolio management team. The position is preferably based in our Frankfurt office. For highly desirable candidates we can discuss alternative options. 


In this position you will be responsible for portfolio management, quantitative and stock research to help produce stable excess returns, as well as project management to help improve the overall investment process. The team’s investment philosophy is based on the conviction that Investment Styles like value, momentum and quality offer risk premiums that can be harvested in a systematic approach, largely independent of the market and macroeconomic environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Performance responsibility for managing institutional and retail mandates in Systematic Equity
  • Analysis of performance and presentation of products and results to clients
  • Quantitative research
  • Development and implementation of quantitative investment processes and tools
  • Account management support and marketing activities

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • Strong academic credentials, advanced degree in Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Applied Sciences or related field of study preferred
  • Ideally 5+ years experience in the financial industry, with a focus on fund management, implementation and client relations. Direct experience as lead on managing institutional segregated accounts and/or large retail funds desired
  • CFA or CFA progression
  • Strong programming skills (SQL, R, VBA, Python, etc.)
  • Proficient with financial markets data like Bloomberg, FactSet, Refinitiv, etc. 
  • Excellent analytical, presentation and communication skills and willingness to excel as a team and individually
  • Proficiency in English
