Job purpose/role
Allianz maintains several investment vehicles (Allianz LuxCos) for alternative assets on behalf of the Allianz insurance companies. To administrate and manage these investment portfolios of more than 38bn Euros for equity, real estate, infrastructure and renewables in Luxembourg, a team of investment professionals was set up, providing investment management, accounting, controlling, legal and other operational services. 

To amplify our services we are searching for an Accountant/Investment Accountant on full-time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Settlement of daily transactions in the capital investment area of LuxCos according to the principles of IFRS and Lux GAAP
• Operate controlling and monitoring tools for KPI, cash flows and accounting
• Approve payments and cash flows of LuxCos and portfolio entities
• Provide transaction support
• Preparation of financial statements according to Lux GAAP, IFRS, and Solvency II. Delivery of data according to IFRS for segment reporting
• Solvency II: Preparation of market value balance sheet for these financial and service companies
• Preparation and reporting of IFRS forecast and plan figures
• Preparation of tax calculations
• Point of contact for management questions regarding LuxCos
• Point of contact for auditors regarding LuxCos

Key requirements / Skills / Experience

• Completed degree in business administration, or equivalent education or relevant work experience
• 3 – 5 years of work experience in finance / investments / valuation / controlling / accounting / taxes
• Very good knowledge of accounting regulations according to Lux GAAP and IFRS
• Consolidation experience
• Experience in SAP highly appreciated
• High degree of independence, commitment, and resilience
• Ability to be proactive and take responsibility
• Strong team player
• Proficiency in German and English
