Role Description

We are a dynamic team of accountants responsible for external reporting for the Allianz UK companies as well as interpreting and implementing new accounting standards across the Group. As a team we are responsible for statutory reporting including being the first point of contact for our auditor and Regulatory reporting including Solvency II.

As an industry and in the finance sector we are in the midst of an exciting period as a result of significant changes to relevant International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). This change brings significant challenges and the opportunity for personal development. About You

Key Responsibilities

 The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Assist the Financial Accountant in producing group reporting
  • Contribute towards the preparation of the annual IFRS statutory accounts  
  • Assist the Financial Accountant with Solvency II reporting
  • Liaise with the auditors on queries

 

Skills & Experience

  • A high degree of analytical skills,
  • Good technical accounting knowledge,
  • Ability to work under pressure and a proven track record of meeting reporting deadlines,
  • Working knowledge of SAP or Oracle Financials desirable.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
