Senior Solution Architect Authentication & Authorization Services (m/f/d)

The Senior Solution Architect for Authentication & Authorization Services is responsible for various Identity and Access Management (IAM) tooling & solution architectures, which are business critical to the Allianz workforce worldwide.

These services include Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Identity Provider (IDP), Multifactor Authentication (MFA), as well as Directory Services, which are operated internationally by Allianz Technology.

Allianz Technology provides it as a shared service for local Allianz companies and for global service offerings.

What will make you succeed in this position?

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are preferred
• Proven 10+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, with a focus on IAM
• Experience in handling incidents of complex business scenarios
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Proofed architecture skills (e.g. TOGAF certificate, etc.)

Functional Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Ability to create and present light-weight solution prototypes
• Proficiency in translating high-level IT strategies into actionable project objectives

Technical Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of IAM technologies, including PKI, IDP, MFA, and Directory Services.
• Strong understanding of security standards and protocols, such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, TLS, and various encryption algorithms.
• Experience with IAM tools and platforms, such as Microsoft Azure AD, Okta, Ping Identity, ForgeRock and others.
• Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or related IAM and encryption certifications, are a plus.
• Knowledge of risk analysis and mitigation strategies
• Familiarity with Proof of Concepts or Proof of Value initiatives

Administrative & Compliance Requirements:

• Adherence to Allianz Technology's policies and procedures
• Compliance with security and privacy regulations

Your mission in the role will be:

• You will own the tool architecture and together with the Product Owners, the Tribe Lead and the Tribe architect contribute to the development of a future proof IAM tool solution.
• You will help to analyze the Identity and Access Management (IAM) application and infrastructure portfolio of our customers.
• You will design and support the implementation and enforcement of strong authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms to protect sensitive data and resources.
• You will complete stakeholder analysis and capture their main functional and non-functional requirements, assumptions, constraints and expectations.
• You will collaborate with project/measure teams on the analysis of the technical risks and their mitigation strategy.
• You will create light-weight solution prototypes and support running necessary technical Proof of Concepts or Proof of Value initiatives.
• You will help translate high-level Allianz Group IT strategy into concrete and actionable technical project objectives and technology recommendations.
• You will collaborate with multiple agile squads to support development of end-to-end solution and provide guidance and technical feedback to the customer.
