Senior Python Developer

We are looking for an experienced Python developer to join DataHub within the DEVOPS Business Event team, the team's mission is to manage/produce events from systems to publish them in Kinesis or connectors.

What will make you succeed in this position?

• Mastery of Python for advanced script, application, and service development (+ unit testing, integration testing, development best practices, experience with web frameworks)
• Exceptional knowledge of SQL for intricate data manipulation, query optimization, and relational database querying (PostGres)
• Extensive practical experience with AWS, including the following AWS components:
  • AWS IAM
  • AWS Lambda
  • AWS EMR
  • AWS API Gateway
  • AWS ECR
• Proficient with:
  • Containerization (Docker)
  • Container orchestration (ECS)
  • CI/CD (preferably Gitlab)
  • Authorization/Authentication (OAuth2)
• Strong dedication to code quality and a pragmatic approach.
• Proactive in taking initiatives and proposing advanced solutions.
• Comfortable handling high levels of complexity and abstraction.

Your mission in the role will be:

• Conceptualize, develop, and deploy complex Python-based applications and services via Git.
• Seamlessly integrate data from various sources using SQL and Python, overseeing init and delta phases.
• Implement advanced solutions based on AWS Lambda, EC2, ECS, and Kinesis for intricate data processing and publication (connectors, etc.).
• Collaborate closely with internal teams (PO, Scrum, etc.) to address sophisticated business needs.
• Proactively monitor and maintain systems, ensuring their consistent reliability and peak efficiency.
