As an IT Governance Expert in Stategic Programs area within COO, you play a critical role in ensuring that AZ Technology’s organization is functioning effectively and efficiently, and that the company's goals and objectives are being achieved. The Role is responsible for ensuring the effective operation of AZ Technology’s organization, focusing on "operational structure”, improvement and development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations.

You will: 

• Develop and implement IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Establish effective IT governance structures and processes, including steering committees, decision-making frameworks, and communication channels.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to align IT strategies and goals with overall organizational objectives.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of IT controls and processes, and implement improvements as necessary.
• Provide guidance and support to IT teams in understanding and adhering to IT governance principles and practices.
• Keep abreast of emerging IT governance trends, technologies, and best practices, and recommend their adoption where appropriate.
• Lead or participate in IT governance-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and successful implementation.
• Oversee the IT financials related to organizational process, policies and procedures

You skills: 

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CGEIT, CISSP) is a plus.
• Proven experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks and standards (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001).
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to IT governance, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or SOX.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex IT governance issues and propose effective solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with a constant drive for continuous improvement in IT governance practices.
• Fluent in English (German or another European Language is a plus)
• Previous Knowledge of IT governance frameworks and standards: Proficient in understanding and applying IT governance frameworks and standards such as COBIT, ISO 27001, and ITIL. Familiarity with other relevant frameworks and standards is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities: Capable of analyzing complex IT governance issues, identifying root causes, and proposing practical and effective solutions.
• Exceptional communication skills: Able to effectively communicate complex IT governance concepts and requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Also, skilled in facilitating discussions and presenting information in a clear and concise manner.
• Project management skills: Experienced in managing IT governance-related projects, including planning, coordinating resources, monitoring progress, and ensuring successful delivery.
• Leadership and decision-making abilities: Competent in leading IT governance initiatives, making informed decisions, and guiding teams towards achieving IT governance objectives.
• Adaptability and flexibility: Able to work in a dynamic and evolving IT environment, adapting to changing requirements and priorities while maintaining a focus on IT governance goals and objectives.
