The Compliance Expert provides support and advice for Allianz Technology SE in establishment, implementation, and maintenance of an effective compliance program for AZ Technology SE and its majority owned affiliates to (i) advise on how to comply with rules and regulations and (ii) prevent and detect illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.

 

You will 

  • Managing the global design and implementation of the Allianz Compliance Programs
  • Conducting trainings to improve the understanding of policies and standards related to the respective Compliance Programs, and of the regulatory environment
  • Participating in the annual review of the System of Governance and of the Corporate Rule Book regarding all Compliance Policies and Standards 
  • Execution of communication measures on a regular basis to foster a compliance culture
  • Regular and structural exchange with interfaces, relevant departments (e.g., Legal, relevant committees) and decentral Compliance Function
  • Anticipate needs for guidance and training in the OEs in exchange with the decentral compliance responsible
  • Regular review and update of the group-wide compliance training plan
  • Oversight for the development and regular update of target group-oriented training content
  • Provide continuous support and training for global Compliance community
  • Communication of the Code of Conduct and written principles to the decentral Compliance Function in order to foster the compliance culture
  • Developing, updating, and communicating a long-term communication strategy (incl. tone-from-the-top and zero-tolerance principles) and establish best practices for the decentral Compliance Function
  • Advising the Relationship Managers in case of special topics related to the decentral Compliance Function
  • Applies project and change management principles to projects
  • Understanding of both the technical aspects of AI (artificial intelligence) and the complex ethical issues that accompany its development and use

 

Your Skills

  • Min. 1–3-year experience in compliance or another safeguarding function
  • A good understanding of process & control design and re-engineering principles
  • Higher education degree in Compliance, Legal, Business, Engineering, Education, Computer Science, MBA 
  • Good experience in an international/diverse working environment and willing to travel around the globe  
  • Excellent ability to collaboratively challenge across all levels of seniority; competent to manage tasks in demanding and unfamiliar situations with problem solving skills based on practice and precedent
  • Applying analytical thinking, negotiation, and conflict management skills as well as moderation and presentation techniques; team player mentality
  • Project management skills to track project performance
  • Understanding of AI technologies and their potential ethical pitfalls
  • Very good command of English, and other languages are preferred
