Would you like to use English on a regular basis? ~crlf~~crlf~Euler Hermes Slovakia is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Credit Analyst/Risk Underwriter who will become part of our team in the Bratislava office and will be responsible for managing the portfolio of clients, gathering information about them, analyzing it and assessing their financial standing, supporting Sales department and other business units of EH Group.

  • Responsabilidades

    - Gathering information about clients from internal and external sources~crlf~- Financial analysis of clients based on pre-defined structure (manual grading)~crlf~- Providing recommendations/making decisions about client’s rating grade~crlf~- Sector analysis~crlf~- Maintaining personal contact with clients: visits, phone calls ~crlf~- Preparing local and group reports~crlf~- Participation in projects and initiatives supporting sales functions as well as related to internal IT system~crlf~- Monitor the assigned client portfolio, risk exposure, trade sector evolution and action plans - maintaining personal contact with clients: visits, phone calls~crlf~- Contribute to support Commercial in steering customers loss ratio and implements necessary actions to ensure or restore profitability of portfolio~crlf~- Based on grading and analysis decide on credit limit requests consistently, within response time delays included in Risk Business Model~crlf~~crlf~This position has no direct reports.

  • Requisitos / Habilidades

    - Experience with financial analysis (ideally at least 3 – 5 years)~crlf~- Knowledge of local economic environment, banking/financial services sector~crlf~- University degree in economics~crlf~- Very good knowledge of Excel~crlf~-Very good knowledge of spoken and written English, Czech/Slovak native speaker~crlf~- Strong analytical and structured thinking~crlf~- Ability to take decisions based on thorough analysis, deep sectoral knowledge etc. and ability to back the decision with arguments~crlf~- Effective communication skills – structured, effective communication, ability to speak the language of the counterpart~crlf~- Ability to work in team as well as independently~crlf~- Combination of focus on detail as well as bigger picture/ high level view~crlf~- The local market knowledge - knowledge in dedicated business industries; knowledge of banking/financial services sector is an advantage
