Head of Sales, Travel & Assistance
Summary~crlf~~crlf~Reporting to the General Manager, the function holder has the overall accountability for the development, implementation and management of the Travel & Assistance business in AWP Hong Kong. To align with the management strategy, the function holder will be responsible for the delivery of revenue growth through the development and cultivation of strategic partnerships. ~crlf~~crlf~The role also takes responsibility for sustaining and growing the existing corporate portfolio in Travel Insurance & Assistance and Extended Warranty Protection business in Hong Kong. These responsibilities are to be delivered through close monitoring and interaction with peers and industry players in Tourism, Automotive, Retail, Airline, Banking and Financial Services.
•~crlf~Develop strategic business plans and drive the implementation of sales and growth strategies with partners, distributors, and intermediaries.~crlf~•~crlf~Manage pipeline of new & renewal business prospect effectively.~crlf~•~crlf~Identify and deliver upsell and cross selling opportunities from new enquiries and existing portfolio.~crlf~•~crlf~Develop and maintain strategic relationships with partners.~crlf~•~crlf~Oversee the negotiation & conclusion of contracts with key partners through appropriate propositions and relevant internal liaison to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.~crlf~•~crlf~Communicate, liaise and negotiate externally and internally with colleagues in the underwriting, marketing and operation teams to ensure agreed targets are met and sustain high customer satisfaction and relationships. ~crlf~•~crlf~Conduct market analysis to position AWP’s business in Travel & Assistance in line with market potentials and adjust business development strategies to changing environment.~crlf~•~crlf~Develop new product/services initiatives in response to identified opportunities.~crlf~•~crlf~Provide training and coaching to the team to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~
Required Qualifications~crlf~•~crlf~Excellent university degree of Bachelor, preferable with Master in Management or Marketing related disciplines.~crlf~•~crlf~Min. 6-8 years of solid experience in management role of Marketing/Sales with proven successes.~crlf~•~crlf~Prior experience in insurance or travel industry-related business development role is highly desirable.~crlf~•~crlf~Ability to train, coach and lead a small team effectively aim to deliver sustainable growth of business~crlf~•~crlf~Business acumen with high level of leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills.~crlf~•~crlf~Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese. Mandarin is an added advantage.~crlf~•~crlf~Self-motivated and result oriented.~crlf~~crlf~
