Reporting to Global Head of Operations  (solid line) and the Chief Executive Officer – AzP Greater China (dotted line), the Chief Operating Officer - AzP Greater China plays a key strategic and tactical leadership role in managing AzP Greater China’s operations  Besides, this person will also play as a key role in facilitating strategic operation projects among AzP Business Units in Greater China region. The role is responsible for Operations Management, Business and Process Management, Financial Management, and Global Competency Centre Management. As an AzP Global OPS representative in Greater China, the AzP Greater China COO will also be responsible to implement and contribute to Global OPS strategy, coordinating local operations functions (Org. Mgmt, Med. Assistance, Int. Health) following Global and Regional guidance.

Strategic management of the end to end digitalization process associated with the management of all operation departments for Allianz Partners to help accelerate the diversification of Operations into customer centric full eco-systems. Embrace the market trends and implement Mobility Solutions around Telematics, operational solutions around the Electric Vehicle. Oversees the efficient service delivery and quality of assistance calls and call centre activities, including roadside assistance, travel medical, property assistance, customer relationship management, and network trade providers. Financial/Budget Management, Business Planning and Manpower Planning for the Operations division. Support leaders to provide strong and consistent leadership across all facets of the operations functions. Work with teams to understand trends, and determine process optimisation opportunities. Ensure that the Operations Team has an ongoing focus on continuous improvement in all areas. Looks for long term opportunities to achieve cost reductions whilst considering the customer value proposition. Ensure that the Operations Team has an ongoing focus on continuous improvement in all areas. Ensure the delivery of agreed profit outcomes for the operations business. Support decision making process on escalated high risk/cost related matters. Work with Operations senior leaders to achieve department goals and ensure operational excellence in all functions. Supports Sr. Management team members in management of key issues affecting intermediary relationships and market and brand perceptions. Leverages group relationships to identify and create opportunities for improving processes across the units and establishing cost effective use of labour pools. Ensure Global strategy/initiatives/projects implementation/roll-out in AzP Greater China  Drive and implement Global Competency Centre distribution in Greater China together with other Business Units within AzP group and Allianz OEs. ~crlf~

Minimum 10 year experience in Operational Management role and be good at process / quality improvement. Proven track record in managerial, leadership and communicating skills. Solid experience in global project management. IT / IT Project Management skills as “desirable”, strong background in driving digital transformation. Experience in large multi-national organizations, focus on delivering globalization adapted to local market Experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders and broad organisational influencing skills in complex organisational structures. Experience managing large operations, above 800 headcounts Demonstrated evidence of the development and implementation of strategy. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to relate to a variety of people in a variety of situations. Ability to steer results in fast changing environment and work comfortably with ambiguity Demonstrates strong analytical, process management and problem solving skill to succeed in a challenging yet rewarding environment. Active thinking & empathy. Language: fluent English, third language nice to have (French, German)~crlf~
