    Responsible for building a 2nd line of defense program in Allianz Life Ethics & Compliance (E&C) department that enhances the ongoing oversight of key regulatory risks to the business. Leads the development of pragmatic methodologies and approaches for the ongoing monitoring, testing and reporting on compliance risks. Develops and manages effective project plans that help ensure progress on multiple related work streams. Partners with key department and business stakeholders including regular interactions with leadership. Works at the direction of the Assistant Vice President of Compliance and Privacy.

  • Responsabilidades

    • Lead the build out of an enterprise 2nd line of defense program to enhance the execution and coordination of E&C oversight processes which include the following key elements:~crlf~o Regulatory Change Monitoring: Identification, assessment and communication of pending and enacted regulatory requirements.~crlf~o Risk Assessment: Execution of a risk assessment methodology to quantify “materiality” of such regulatory requirements.~crlf~o Key Controls: Identification and mapping of enterprise key controls in the business that help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including advice on process design for future key controls. ~crlf~o Monitoring & Testing: Development of monitoring and testing approaches which promote an independent perspective on the effectiveness of key controls.~crlf~o Reporting: Creation of innovative and data-driven compliance reports that effectively communicate to stakeholders relevant 2nd line of defense program outcomes.~crlf~• Provide strong project management capabilities to help ensure milestones and deliverables are met on multiple works streams that support the build out of the program.~crlf~• Develop easy to understand frameworks and methodologies that promote clear connectivity between related E&C oversight processes. ~crlf~• Partner with subject matter experts and key stakeholders throughout the organization to promote buy-in and drive well-coordinated results.

  • Requisitos / Habilidades

    • 8-10 years’ experience required: Compliance related experience across multiple compliance disciplines and/or business lines.~crlf~• Four-year degree required~crlf~• Strong program and project management skills~crlf~• Excellent oral and written communication skills, comfortable interfacing with all levels of leadership~crlf~• Ability to identify compliance issues in a complex and global organization~crlf~• Ability to develop innovative solutions and approaches to solve complex problems~crlf~• Technical acumen to understand how technology impacts compliance risk~crlf~• Ability to influence without authority~crlf~• General knowledge of annuity and insurance products and services
