Technical Support Engineer Level 2
A full time position has arisen in the IT Development team of Allianz plc, based in Dublin 4, to work as a Technical Support Engineer. This role involves technical responsibility from a software development perspective for assisting and enhancing key applications that support critical business processes. We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 3 years’ experience with .NET Framework, SQL Server and enterprise web applications development.~crlf~~crlf~As this is a support role, the successful candidate is required to be flexible, quick-thinking and enjoy working under pressure. They will also be required to program software changes to address application enhancements and bug fixes.~crlf~~crlf~The successful candidate should demonstrate good software engineering skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of technology to provide assistance and quality.
• Comprehensive analysis and resolution of Production system issues ~crlf~• Ownership of software application changes on implementation to Production systems ~crlf~• Comprehensive documentation of changes applied and participation in knowledge transfers~crlf~• Identify potential alternatives to the requested approach.~crlf~• Problem recurrence prevention by focusing on root cause analysis ~crlf~• Liaise with Business stakeholders and build and maintain key relationships ~crlf~• Liaise with .NET Development to maximize throughput and minimize environment congestion~crlf~• Liaise with Technical Leads for solution alignment ~crlf~• Adhere to overall .NET standards~crlf~• Ensure Production Support Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) are met~crlf~
