Senior Market Data Relationship Manager (f/m/d)
We are looking for you! A forward-thinking and results-oriented Senior Market Data Relationship Manager (f/m/d) who will be responsible for Market Data strategies and relationship management globally. Within this exciting role you will develop the relevant strategies with the respective partners, translate strategies into action plans and drive execution of the objectives aligned with the business and company goals.~crlf~~crlf~Hiring location is Germany (Frankfurt) or USA.
##Build and implement the market data procurement strategy supporting defined objectives ~crlf~##Improve and extent current value chain including systems and contract negotiations as well as relationship management to all major vendors~crlf~##Transact high volume Market Data contracts with sophisticated oligopolies~crlf~##Manage strategic sourcing activities, including but not limited to: Spend analysis, benchmarking, supply market analysis, vendor analysis, RFI/RFP building, negotiations, baseline analysis, contracting, building business cases~crlf~##Supervising projects to reduce costs on a TCO bases as well as for harmonizing standards and dimensions in cooperation with the relevant partners~crlf~##Proactively build and lead cost reduction, initiatives to meet the company goals and identify the best solutions to provide long-term value to the business~crlf~##Understand yourself as a key accountant delivering high value-adding services to our internal clients and act as first point of contact for various internal and external parties~crlf~##Strategically manage, develop and optimize the vendor portfolio ~crlf~##Take care about individual end-to-end vendor lifecycle, including identification, onboarding, performance measurement, (strategic) development, relationship-management, offboarding~crlf~##Ensure reporting of results and actions and communication at all levels~crlf~
##Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Legal, Finance, IT or equivalent subject~crlf~##Several years of experience in the Market Data sector, a commercial understanding to act as a business partner for the investment platforms and a track record for high volume contract negotiations ~crlf~##Proficient understanding of vendor market and oligopolistic structure of Market Data vendors~crlf~##High Relationship management capabilities proven by interaction with all levels of management, including executive management of AllianzGI as well as of the vendors ~crlf~##Outstanding analytical capabilities are vital~crlf~##Ability to problem solve and spot issues proactively~crlf~##Organizational skills / Attention to detail~crlf~##Detailed knowledge of modern procurement techniques and approaches, including strategic cost management principles and strategic category management process knowledge ~crlf~##Strong negotiation skills and ability to coordinate RFQs~crlf~##Experience in working hands-on, independent and collaborative in an agile environment, effective multi-tasking skills are vital~crlf~##Global, culturally sensitive mind-set with outstanding oral and written communication skills in English, capacity to build and manage relationships with direct colleagues, business partners and vendors~crlf~##Remarkable presentation skills providing timely and relevant data to advise and solicit decision making or consensus~crlf~##Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint~crlf~
