We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented IFRS Closing Specialist (f/m/d) for our Accounting & Financial Management / Global Closing Reporting department. The position is based in our Frankfurt office.
##Supervising and coordinating the offshore preparation of monthly/quarterly/year-end IFRS financial statements centrally and for all company codes and branches of AllianzGI, including group reporting in SAP~crlf~##Preparation of additional reporting information / upload files (Country-by-Country Reporting, Financial Reporting Questionnaires, Tax reporting) for all company codes and branches of AllianzGI~crlf~##Perform validation and control checks of closing related IFRS postings performed by our service provider~crlf~##Warrant offshore and onshore controls related to the completeness and accuracy of the IFRS closing and reporting are performed timely and accurately~crlf~##Frequent interaction with offshore team, regional hubs, Financial Planning & Analysis to answer questions and resolve issues~crlf~##Identify and report notable transactions and events for each reporting period~crlf~##Validation and control of accrual postings performed offshore~crlf~##Liaison and representative of AllianzGI and the Accounting & Financial Management function with internal and external auditors, regulatory and tax auditors, internal risk and other functions and other Allianz entities~crlf~##Provide support to the successful roll-out of global and regional change initiatives / projects, particularly driving the global standardization and harmonization of IFRS closing & reporting processes~crlf~
##Bachelor`s degree in Accounting or related field of study and several years related experience. Certified Public Accountant preferred~crlf~##Detailed knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and applicable financial laws, codes and regulations~crlf~##Strong technology skills especially with SAP, Power BI; strong Excel modeling skills~crlf~##Highly analytical, diligent, detail oriented and strong business sense - phenomenal attention to detail and ability to interpret sophisticated, large data sets and communicate findings in easy to understand narratives and tables~crlf~##Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, multifaceted, ever-growing and often ambiguous environment; effective multi-tasking skills are vital~crlf~##Competence to take initiative to address problems and make continuous operational improvements~crlf~##Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English and German (German is not a must)~crlf~##An experience with an offshore shared service center or outsourced environment and understanding of its requirements and challenges is highly beneficial; ability to work with and lead a wide variety of onshore / offshore and cross-functional teams~crlf~
