    The Senior Subrogation Representative’s purpose is to:~crlf~##Handle subrogation claims within authority limits~crlf~##Review and manage interventions received from Vendors~crlf~##Prepare reports for Clients as needed; exceed industry standards on resolution of subrogation claims expeditiously where possible to increase the productivity of the unit and achieve economical results~crlf~Provide quality service to all internal and external customers

    ##Investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle subrogation claims under general direction and within department policies, procedures and authority ~crlf~##Review and handle subrogation interventions received from Vendors pursuant to established guidelines~crlf~##Proper use and management of outside vendors, consultants, attorneys, field experts. Manage expenses~crlf~##Manage litigation. Adhere to litigation management guidelines. Manage legal expenses~crlf~##Assist in securing supporting documentation to perfect our subrogation case~crlf~##Evaluate liability, jurisdiction and develop a strategy in support of a viable subrogation case

  • Requisitos / Habilidades

    ##Bachelor Degree: BA Degree recommended~crlf~##Advanced Training: 3 years + experience in Subrogation Claims ~crlf~##Knowledge of subrogation claims for various lines of business preferably to include Workers Compensation, Property, Auto and Marine. Understanding of applicable concepts and terminology that exist across various lines of business~crlf~##Understanding of financial concepts and application of jurisdictional knowledge~crlf~##Understanding of statutory provisions, notice of claim requirements for various lines of business~crlf~##General understanding of contracts and their applicability~crlf~##Intermediate: Proficient analytical and technical skills, developed negotiation techniques and good writing skills ~crlf~##Basic: Interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a team environment~crlf~##Intermediate: Strong organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Able to work in a highly productive environment. ~crlf~##Basic: Strong customer service/telephone skills
