We are looking for a Team Assistant (m/f/d), based in Munich.


Your Team 
The Facultative Reinsurance team is responsible for monitoring and coordinating the purchase of “true” facultative reinsurance within AGCS. The team is involved in the negotiation and placement of individual fac risks, working in conjunction with the underwriting units concerned. In addition to maintaining an overview of facultative purchasing activity across the various Lines of Business, the team investigates solutions for risks where facultative reinsurance is required.


The Impact You Will Have 
Reporting to the Head of Facultative Reinsurance, you will join the team as a team assistant, supporting the team with a variety of administrative tasks to allow the team to focus on their core tasks.
We are looking for someone with a collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal and intercultural skills.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include

  • Provide secretarial support in arranging and organizing meetings, booking rooms, and taking minutes where required, help with team functions and team meeting arrangements such as offsites or social events    
  • Handle general enquiries, assist with IT applications, and organize team archives such as sharepoint, team mailboxes, reminders
  • Prepare documents and required material in MS office, manage and update connect page content
  • Making travel arrangements and manage travel expenses
  • Liaise with relevant individuals, external organizations etc to arrange meetings, prepare agendas and draft minutes
  • Perform any other ad-hoc tasks

What You’ll Bring to the Role

  • Demonstrable experience in an administration/assistant role in a highly pressurized environment requiring tact, judgment, and discretion in handling internal and external contacts            
  • Experience of diary management/researching and booking of travel and accommodation    
  • Experience and good understanding in general office application tools e.g., Power Point, Excel, Word 
  • Fluent in English and German    
  • The ability to clearly and effectively express ideas and messages via speech and writing        
  • The ability effectively express and display thoughts and ideas visually, using various tools
