We are looking for an Account technician – based in Munich

 

Your Team 

Reporting to Global Business OpThe German operations department oversees the portfolio of brokers / clients and the insurance contracts for our Aviation or Financial Lines . We are committed to deliver state of the art end to end customer service, starting by capturing and processing policy information, from submissions through to billing and collection. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service and operational effectiveness for our clients.

 

The Impact You Will Have 

Reporting to Global Business Operations (GBO) manager, your primary responsibility will be to provide an efficient administrative and processing service to our clients, underwriting and our local entities abroad, accounts, claims, credit control and our brokers for our Aviation or Financial Lines of business. 


Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

  • You are a highly motivated team player with a high service mentality and take ownership and pride of your responsibilities and work.
  • A recognized insurance qualification (or equivalent in the financial sector), or are interested in doing so
  • Good understanding of relevant products, wordings, terms and conditions, coverages and the policy administration life cycle including information collection, policy insurance, premium bookings, credit control, cancellation
  • At least 1 year of policy management/administration experience in an underwriting support or management role in the insurance sector. Alternatively, experience of administrative task in other businesses with an interest in Avitation/ Financial Lines insurance.
  • Excellent time management skills and experience of scheduling tasks in accordance with daily review of priorities
  • Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, you also create positive relationships throughout your network
  • Excellent knowledge Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and experience of relevant business applications and systems
  • Native level of German and very good level of English.
