Job Purpose:

Drive infrastructure management tasks and projects including analysis of issues and the preparation of project data such as reports, dashboards, and presentations related to resource utilization, costs, as well as analysis of required actions.

Align Managed Services objectives with application teams, test/release/change management, environment management, Enterprise Architecture, and other strategic partners.  Identify, analyze and interpret relevant global and local activities in order to define, challenge and ensure best practices for the infrastructure and cloud management and operations.  In addition, use information to set standards and for decision making of the topics at hand.



In this role you will…

  • Drive the delivery of small to large, high risk IT projects.
  • Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of the agile delivery organization and its capability, including acting as a focal point to facilitate and share information/knowledge.
  • Control IT projects to ensure initiatives and supporting workstreams are on track and escalate appropriately as needed in order to avoid or mitigate delays.
  • Ensure engagement with and cooperation from stakeholders throughout the project, keeping them informed of progress and issues and ensuring successful completion of the project.
  • Support project delivery colleagues where interdependencies demand collaborative action and team work.
  • Direct and lead initiatives that will support project delivery and ensure adherence to governance and control framework.
  • Support the governance of small IT projects using agile methodologies, assess the risks and issues that may threaten the successful delivery of the projects, ensuring each project is delivered according to the scope and definition.
  • Deploy project governance standards and drive the quality assurance process for sprints and program increments.
  • Manage the sign-off and successful closure of projects.
  • Build, manage and motivate agile delivery teams across multiple global projects.
  • Define, implement and evolve global IT infrastructure, including cloud environment and various platforms in their support, upgrade, consolidation, migration and integration.


To be successful in the role:

You will have….

  • At least 7 years’ of IT experience or exposure to IT topics;
  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience (individual task management, as well as the ability to manage large complex projects);
  • Excellent understanding of SAFe Agile framework as well as SDLC (Software development life cycle) and PMLC (Project Management life cycle);
  • Ability to analyze complex data/information and make recommendations based on your analyses;
  • Understanding of system design, programming, development and implementation;
  • Experience building and fostering relationships with stakeholders and stakeholder management;
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
  • Previous insurance industry experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Engineering or related area; 
  • Professional Training Qualification preferred; and
  • Would consider qualified remote candidates located in the US.
