Global P&C is an Allianz SE department contributing to driving Technical Excellence in P&C Insurance and to improving the Group Underwriting result. 
Global P&C Pricing team is responsible for identifying, implementing and ensuring standards, best practices and guidelines for data management, tariff and price development, portfolio analysis and monitoring. Specifically, the team oversees: 
-    Joint projects with the Allianz local entities around the world 
-    Research and development on Data & Analytics and tools 
-    Knowledge sharing and training of best practices within the community of pricing analysts of Allianz Group.
-    Review activities to ensure harmonization of pricing processes and implementation ofbest practices across the Group.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

-    Collaborate with Pricing team and its management understanding communication and strategy needs, interacting with management of both Allianz Group Centers and Allianz local entities  
-    Support the pricing strategy definition by summarizing, designing, communicating and composing effectively reports (e.g. monitoring of KPIs) for decision-making
-    Work with Allianz local entities, internal teams and external partners as responsible for strategic tasks concerning the Pricing function and related topics
-     Support effective governance in overall pricing processes
-    Create executive communications related to pricing strategy and connected topics
-    Support implementation of priorities and deliverables to ensure the Pricing team is properly organized and equipped  to deliver results on time


KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

 

-    Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Economics (preferably with major in quantitative analytics/statistics); PhD would be a plus
-    Two to five years relevant working experience in insurance industry and/or consulting or a similar data-heavy environment
-    Acquaintance with complex pricing methods and knowledge of related statistic software/programming language (e.g. SAS, R, Python) would be a plus
-    Program/project management experience 
-    Outstanding working knowledge of MS Office
-    Excellent communication skills and entrepreneurial, problem-solving  attitude
-    Team player, demonstrated ability to work effectively with different levels and functions in the organization
-    Very good analytical skills, details oriented
-    Curiosity and ability to think outs of the box in a transitioning industry
-    Fluent in English (written and verbally), more languages (e.g. German) preferred
-    International working experience  would be an advantage
-    Availability to travel abroad
