Summary of Job

Deliver effective and efficient Claims Handling support including timely and efficient claim processing and general administrative duties.  Ensure claim handling and support activities comply with AGCS Claims Standards and Compliance procedures and guidelines.    Proactively liaise with other functions, team members and develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor incoming work requests from various resources and entry points, completing tasks timely and accurately                                                                        
  • Proactively work with other functional areas and business partners in the claim handling process, driving efficient and effective execution                                                   
  • Prepare, process and deliver key claims reports and communications as required

 

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 - 3 years - Prior experience and understanding Insurance products, terms and conditions desired
  • Analyze, study or examine data in depth to draw conclusions. Manage to avoid failures before they happen, able to resolve them timely. Apply communication tools to handle customer complaints and queries.      
  • Ability to effectively receive and apply information from various sources, and analyze, study or examine data in detail to draw appropriate conclusions         
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office applications         
  • Strong attention to detail   
  • Ability to work effectively and professionally in a team environment with various staff levels        
  • Able to show and display one's thoughts and ideas visually using various tools        
  • Exposure to working in a complex, fast paced and global matrix organization        
  • Manage to express one's thoughts and put one's messages across clearly through speech or writing. Proficiency in both written and spoken English.        
  • Active engagement and support in a rapidly changing environment
