RESPONSIBLE FOR IT RISK & STRATEGY

The IT Risk Management and Strategy of Allianz Italy  is composed of the first line of defense for IT Risks, Internal Control System and Compliance.

In your role as Responsible for IT Risks and Strategy you oversight over different safeguarding areas, Integrated Information Risk Management  (IRM), IT Compliance, IT Risks Assessments and Strategy.

You will have to maintain close collaboration with sister functions, first line of defense, and second line of defense.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform review and qualified assessment of information risks with respect to all relevant IT Controls, especially the tracking and validation of implemented target measures (controls) as required for objects at risk
• Ensure adequate risk mitigation planning and execution is performed  as well as support the Business Owners in deciding on the adequate risk response
• Monitor the responses to the Information Risks and report on their status to the COO as well as to Group Functions
• Contribute to the regular Risk Report
• Review of risk profiles/risk assessments in preparation for new local and global IT projects and contracts; Support the development and implementation of cross-functional projects and initiatives
• Compliance of IT Systems to local and EU regulations
• Define IT Strategy
• Foster strong relationship with Risk function, ISO and other IT Risk Management teams
• Profound understanding of Italian and European regulatory requirements towards IT (e.g. DORA)

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

•             Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent

•             Proven experience in equivalent/related role (e.g. 7 years), preferably in Insurance/ Financial services/Consulting firms

•             Experience in Team management (e.g. 3 years)

•             Ability to understand complex issues, elaborate and convey information clearly and effectively in respect to the audience / level of management (both verbal and in writing) and at the same time to reduce complexity

•             Capability to build collaborative working relationships and ability to work in virtual and international teams, international experience would be a plus

•             Profound knowledge of IT Risk related frameworks and standards (certification preferred)

•             Fluent Italian and English, written and spoken
