The Compliance function aims to protect the Allianz Group of companies from regulatory and reputational risks and is responsible for the Group-wide Anti-Fraud Program, the SpeakUp! facility and Compliance Investigations into Code of Conduct breaches and whistleblowings.

This role will be part of a team of experts and will be located in the Allianz SE branch in Italy. This role entails intense cooperation with Group Compliance, other Group Centers and the colleagues within the OEs, Regions and Global Lines and is characterized by strategic and operational tasks on a truly international basis.




- member of rapid reaction task force to investigate ad hoc Compliance issues;
- assess, prioritize and execute compliance investigations;
- delegate investigations to Regions/Global Lines/other entities;
- monitor, co-ordinate and give guidance in general on investigations;
- support local, regional, global lines Compliance Officers;
- monitor, follow up and where necessary, escalate as appropriate;
- continuously leverage and share lessons learnt.


- actively contribute towards raising the awareness of SpeakUp!.


- ensure the Compliance Case Management Tool (CCMT) is being populated as required;
- prepare case reporting content and presentations on Compliance investigations and other related topics to management;
- prepare analyses of case data and CCMT usage to identify and monitor trends and provide reports where required. Conduct deep dives and provide results on an ad hoc basis;
- prepare responses to media requests, give input on the Sustainability reports, Audits and other similar/related information requests.


Integrity Committee:

- fulfill obligations under the Integrity Committee Terms of Reference (both ad hoc and standing committees);
- prepare Integrity Committee reports and minutes.


- other ad hoc related activities.




- Broad experience (min 3-5 years relevant experience) and proven competence in managing/leading investigations effectively and efficiently (internationally an added bonus).
- Strong experience on remediation and mitigation measures in an international and multi-cultural environment.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and constructively with all levels including senior management, within a multi-cultural organization.
- Knowledge of Insurance business is an advantage.
- Proven ability to learn and acquire new knowledge and skills in the digital and investigative space, law, methodologies and regulations.
- Strong communication and report writing skills (Fluent English required, additional languages a plus).
- Results driven team player.
- Willingness to work across time zones and travel abroad.
- Strategic approach to working in a governance function.
- Confidentiality and discretion.
