JOB ROLE

Global IT Procurement is looking for a Senior IT Procurement Specialist to support the procurement of IT services at the Italian Branch of Allianz Technology. The resource will be part of the Global Sourcing and Procurement Division and will support the Branch Procurement Responsible in providing the better IT solution to the Business in terms of cost and quality, ensuring the alignment with the Global IT Strategy defined at Group level. The resource will also support Branch Procurement Responsible in organizing the activity of Branch Procurement Team and in managin the relationship with Group Procurement.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Business in transforming IT needs in Purchase Requests, planning and monitoring the supply plan and ensuring the solution is provided on-time, on budget and with the expected quality
  • Plan and manage the different phase of a tender:
    • set up the relevant documentation
    • define the list of suppliers
    • run the RFI/RFP/RFQ
    • review and ranking the received proposals
  • Run negotiations and support Legal in preparing the contracts
  • Active supplier management (selection, evaluation, development) together with Business and aligned with the Global IT Procurement strategy, Risk Management and Compliance
  • Contribute to the identification of optimal solutions in order to reducing IT costs and streamlining processes, collaborating with Global Head of IT Categories
  • Ensures IT products and services are purchased in the most cost- and time-efficient
  • Support and promote the continuing development of our international Global Procurement community

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Master’s Degree in Economics or Engineering
  • 7+ years proven experience in purchasing IT goods and services
  • 7+ years experience as IT Project Manager or IT Service Manager
  • Strong experience in working in a matrix organization within a multi-cultural context
  • Excellent in communication skills, with proven ability to communicate with all company levels
  • Focused in Organization, Prioritization Goal setting and Achievements in Agile way of doing
  • Result orientation and Customer centricity focus
  • Strong ability to work autonomously and under pressure
  • Excellent Office package knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Fluent in Italian and English, a third language will be a plus
