We are looking for you! We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented Working Student – Private Market Operations (f/m/d). This position will be based either in our Munich office or in our Frankfurt am Main office and combines client reporting as well as private market transaction operations.

 

Key challenge of this role is ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data related to private market transactions while maintaining efficient databases and continuously improving data management processes. Additionally, the role involves supporting the operational aspects of onboarding new products and handling day-to-day transaction-related activities. Collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders, including investment manager teams, is essential. The ideal candidate has a good mix of automation skills, a structured approach to work and strong analytical skills.

 

 

Roles and responsibilities

 

  • Overseeing the management of financial data related to private market transactions including ensuring that data is accurate, complete, and up-to-date

  • Analyzing quarterly reports and annual financial statements for the private debt & equity fund portfolio

  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes related to data management and reporting to ensure that they are efficient and effective

  • Be the responsible party for operational day-to-day activities e.g., transaction-related activities, support for cash management, drawdowns, support for reporting, and query management

  • Supporting global investment teams in London, Munich, Singapore and New York

  • Ad hoc projects/topics in coordination with controlling, planning and reporting

 

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

 

  • You are enrolled in an accredited college or university studying toward a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics or related fields

  • You are highly interested in the fund industry and in the Private Markets and Real Assets industry

  • You are proficient in MS-Office (Word, Excel as well as PowerPoint) and have a strong interest or some affinity in process automation and the implementation of digital solutions (databases, workflow tools, VBA, etc.)

  • You have gathered first professional experiences in the context of internships

  • You are fluent in English, knowledge of German and/or French

  • You have strong analytical skills, a high level of accuracy and keen attention to details

  • You are an excellent team player with good communication skills and a self-reliant working style
