Who will you be joining?
Group Taxation (GTAX) is the tax department of Allianz SE, the listed parent company of Allianz Group. GTAX supports the Board of Management to ensure high quality and efficient tax reporting and tax compliance and represents the company against external authorities. With our diverse team of more than 30 tax advisors, lawyers and senior experts we enable sustainable growth by providing tax advice to senior management, performing group wide tax planning and engaging in strategic projects. GTAX sets group wide tax standards, steers and coordinates the local tax functions to ensure effective tax risk management and to safeguard Allianz reputation as a responsible tax payer. In GTAX we constantly strive for benchmark performance and best practice.
Group Tax operates in an international environment with continuous touchpoints with our operating entities, tax authorities, senior managers and C-level stakeholders.
How can you make an impact?
You will:
- Develop and implement IT tools for tax reporting and compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and standardization of tax reporting processes and tools.
- Manage country-by-country reporting to fiscal authorities.
- Ensure OECD Pillar II reporting and compliance.
- Contribute to public tax transparency reporting as part of Allianz’s sustainability initiatives.
- Prepare internal and external reports on the tax situation for Allianz Group’s quarterly and annual IFRS and Solvency II financial statements.
- Set IFRS and Solvency II tax accounting policies and guidelines for Allianz Group and resolve related tax accounting issues.
- Maintain close communication and coordination with Allianz subsidiaries worldwide and other Group Centers on tax reporting and accounting matters.
- Participate in projects related to tax accounting and reporting issues.
What are you made of?
- Completed degree e.g. business administration, graduate finance economist
- Very good knowledge of Excel and SAP (preferable PaPM); experience in IT tool development/implementation and data analysis
- Experience in IFRS, Solvency II tax reporting
- Profound IAS 12 Knowledge
- Experience with respect to tax tool implementation projects
- Business fluent English
- At least 4 years of professional experience e.g. in a tax department of an international group or a Big4WP company
- Detailed, consistent way of working, high level of understanding of complex issues
- Very good communication and presentation skills, team player
Please know this is a Part-time position with a limited contract.
