Job Profile

Do risk management activities for AllianzGI/ACP Private Markets illiquid equity and debt strategies

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out risk assessment of investment proposals using quantitative and qualitative methods
  • Conducting ad hoc analyses and regular stress tests for risk positions in individual investments and portfolios
  • Regular communication with the risk management functions of the main client Allianz and third party investors
  • Preparation of risk and model analysis at investment and portfolio level
  • Support in the onboarding of new investment strategies from a risk management perspective
  • Ad hoc projects on risk, planning and reporting topics
  • Preparation of the quarterly risk reports to the Executive Board
  • Carrying out the stress tests
  • Monitoring of early warning triggers and limit values
  • Coordinating the integration of risk management into the pre-investment and post-investment process of the AIF s under capital management
  • Ongoing coordination with internal and external departments
  • Calculation of the risk coverage potential
  • Interface with Compliance, Money Laundering and Internal Audit
  • Process design and ongoing updating of OHB in line with regulatory requirements
  • Proactive involvement in the continuous further development of existing processes

 

Key Requirements

  • University degree in Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial, or any other related analytic science
  • Ideally, practical experience and/or knowledge in different areas of Risk Management
  • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured, independent work style
  • A high level of motivation, excellent communication skills and strong team spirit
  • Written and oral fluency in English required, working knowledge of German is a plus
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment
