Who will you be joining?

Allianz SE Reinsurance Protection & Resilience (P&R) is responsible for the P&R governance and implementation of respective Group standards for the Reinsurance entity and it's branches.

Protection & Resilience acting as a 1st Line-of-Defense takes a holistic approach to operational resilience actively identifying risks, ensuring effective mitigating controls and continually monitoring for improvement to protect Allianz RE business operations, people and physical assets.        

How can you make an impact?

As a Protection and Resilience Expert you will:

• Be responsible for all aspects of assigned P&R areas such as Business Continuity Management, Crisis Management, Protective Security, Global Incident Management, Outsourcing.
• Be responsible for ensuring the design, build, run, monitoring and reporting of assigned P&R areas and related controls and processes – contribute on projects and initiatives, applying company/ industry knowledge. 
• Support resilience readiness and response efforts.
• Liaise and manage relationship with internal and external stakeholders, such as business owners, process owners, service providers, Group functions.
• Support the branches and locations improving their maturity by knowledge sharing, awareness, monitoring and reporting.
• Participate and contribute to local and Group projects related to Protection & Resilience.

What are you made of?

• Several years of professional experience in Protection and Resilience, Information Security, Operations or other relevant discipline.
• Knowledge of project management practices.
• Basic risk management capabilities and an understanding of operational and enterprise risk.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of relevant local and international regulatory environment and standards such as: DORA, VAIT, ISO Standards, ITIL, COBIT etc.
• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification through work experience.
• Previous experience in business related functions (i.e. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus.
