The Chief HR Officer at Allianz plays a central role in this journey. In order to achieve this, Allianz HR is currently driving a number of initiatives to transform the HR function and the entire organization on a global level.
The Executive Assistant supports the CHRO in both strategic topics as well as all day-to-day tasks. He/she serves as an interface within HR globally and supports the CHRO in managing internal and external stakeholders.

 

As Executive Assistant to the CHRO you get a broad overview of the Allianz Global HR function and Allianz Group as a whole, while developing in a demanding environment and building a network with colleagues from all over the world. 

 


Key responsibilities

  • Working independently on a variety of strategic HR topics
  • Preparing decision materials and presentations for the Board of Management
  • Preparing and coordinating decisions on top management level
  • Preparing speeches, presentations and internal and external meetings of the Chief HR Officer
  • Support of Chief HR Officer in operative day-to-day business
  • Act as an interface to organizational entities in responsibility of the Operations including preparation of strategic and financial documents, challenge plans and ensure alignment with priorities
  • Independently prepare complex and sensitive content incl. Board Management presentations, strategic business information and communications

 

 

Qualification

  • Excellent, above-average academic track record with studies preferably in economics, finance, social sciences, psychology (diploma or master’s degree)
  • Professional work experience is a must
  • Excellent German and English – both written and spoken
  • Excellent MS-Office skills
  • Leadership ambition and management potential

 

 

Experience & Key skills

  • Solid HR knowledge and experience (desirable)
  • Experience in managing of and communicating to complex stakeholder environments (including Board, Board offices, works council, external stakeholders e.g., media)
  • Proven stress-resistance and resilience
  • Experience in managing complex cross-functional projects preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ideally work experience in consulting or management in Finance
  • Confident and keen communicator
  • Pro-active and independent working style
