Job Purpose/Role

Allianz SE Group Accounting & Reporting (GAR) department, team Reporting Hub makes GAR’s reporting services available outside Finance area and enables scalability with standardized onboarding & run processes. Through our services, we support Allianz SE management in the productivity, IT and other non-financial steering of the Allianz Group legal entities. The job profile therefore offers an attractive mix of analytical topics in combination with the strong cross-functional interaction with our customers within the Group Center, Allianz local legal entities worldwide and our IT business partners. More specifically, your role would be to:

  • Ensure flawless end-to-end reporting execution (Report Process Owner)
  • Aim for the right balance between reporting stability and customer needs
  • Ensure agreed changes are successfully integrated into the reporting process

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as PMO for your workstreams
  • Drive overarching communication with our legal entities within the regular reporting cycle but also with reporting stakeholders outside of the finance function
  • Trigger and manage continuous improvement processes
  • Collect, challenge and reach agreement on change requirements
  • Coordinate technical implementation and confirm with AZ Technology technical readiness
  • Drive regular customer review process
  • Together with the Reporting Hub Manager, prepare topics for management meetings

 

Qualification, experience and skills:

  • University degree – preferably in business sciences, business mathematics or business informatics
  • Multiple years (3+) of relevant job experience 
  • Strong German and English - in writing and speaking
  • Project management skills are key, as well as communication and presentation skills
  • Expertise in running reporting processes would be beneficial
  • Expertise in the usage of SAP-BW would be a major advantage
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems
  • Procedural knowhow and ability to drive decision-making process
  • Open-minded team player, proactive and organized, capable of prioritizing workload
  • Advanced knowledge of handling big data volumes would be an advantage
