Job Purpose/Role
Organizational Management (OM) within Group Operations and Performance provides different capabilities at
Group level, with the ultimate goal to support the overall business transformation.
Among these capabilities, Productivity Transformation (PT) cares about analysis and steering of the operational performance and productivity of Allianz operating entities (OEs).
PT provides analytical insights and supports OEs in their transformation towards the operational target picture of global Industrial Operations, in line with ACM and our Operations strategy. This ranges from identification &
ambition setting and design through agile project setup, joint execution and savings realization, to monitoring, skill building and best practice exchange.
In order to achieve this, PT develops measurements and tools to identify improvement needs and drive operational productivity levers across the Group, addressing the entire insurance value chain.
PT is collaborating closely with our OEs, H1, H2, H6, H10 / ACM, AZ Technology and AZ Services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the analysis of operational performance drivers for the Group and specific OEs, translating financial and transformational KPIs to the relevant operational drivers in order to maximize sustainable productivity gains across Allianz Group, working closely with OEs, H2, H6 & H10, as well as Allianz Technology and Allianz Services.
  • Extensive collaboration with OEs to develop initiatives, frameworks, tools & methodologies to compile achievable & sustainable action plans to close identified gaps, as well as cooperation with OEs and other departments to ensure successful implementation and realization of action plans.
  • Further develop best practices and innovative approaches identified across the Group into new tools and frameworks that can be applied to wider areas and in other OEs.
  • Drive design & development of the Allianz Organizational Laboratory as Org. Management capability as part of Industrial Operations to increase transparency on organizational health and harmonize the organizational management function across the AZ Group.
  • Work with agile program set-ups to steer the delivery in time, in budget and in quality.
  • Liaise with senior management stakeholders in Holding and OEs.


Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • Relevant university degree (Master) in Business Administration, Business Mathematics or equivalent experience
  • Analytical background (e.g. acquired in controlling/financial steering/consulting/business analysis)
  • Project management experience, preferred also in agile set-ups
  • Excellent English, further languages are of advantage


Experience & Key skills

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Strategy/Transformation Consulting, Organizational Management or Strategic Controlling, ideally including OE experience
  • Ideally experience of insurance business and processes
  • Solid knowledge of financial services and steering/controlling instruments and KPIs
  • Very strong analytical, strategic and conceptual skills with a solution-oriented approach
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with strong customer focus
  • Significant experience in building, deploying & interpreting complex, quantitative Excel (& VBA) models
  • Reputation as a team player, cultural sensitivity in order to fit into a multinational project setup
  • Self-starter / entrepreneurial mindset
