In line with our Global strategy and purpose, we have an opportunity for a Customer Propositions Manager to join the UK Transformation Programme, the largest business transformation programme at Allianz, it's purpose to harmonize, simplify and scale Allianz assets across the entire Group to the benefit of OEs, employees and, ultimately, customers. This is a massive undertaking in every respect that puts Allianz at the forefront of industry innovation.   

 

 

About the Role

 

Working within the Customer Proposition Team in Commercial Market Management you will develop, co-ordinate and manage product development through the provision of market research and project management, with a core focus on the UK Transformation programme and its product implementation roadmap.  In close cooperation with account management teams and branches, you will be responsible for developing value propositions, based on customer insight and segmentation and bringing them to the commercial insurance market. 

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Evaluate & monitor Allianz Commercial product offerings versus customer segments and competitors.

  • Participate in development of commercial end customer segmentation.

  • Act as customer insight champion for each commercial segment.

  • Identify business opportunities and generate product ideas.

  • Deliver new and refreshed customer propositions via a defined product development process.

  • Manage the launch of new propositions, including the preparation and delivery of branch training activities.

  • Monitor the market success of newly launched propositions and initiate corrective action where appropriate.

  • Manage the product development process, with a focus on embedding modularised products linked to the Allianz Product Library and meeting the modular needs of the business going forward via the UK Transformation programme.

 

About You
 

Skills and Experience

We're looking for an individual with a detailed understanding of the commercial insurance business, the markets in which we operate and the expectations of our customers, you'll be able to demonstrate / have experience in:   

  • Strategic and innovative thinking with strong analytical skills with a good understanding of numbers.  

  • Strong project management and planning skills, with the ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines.

  • Awareness of UK market commercial product structures and wordings. 

  • Influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels. 

  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

  • Ability to confidently present to varied audiences using a variety of media.

Qualifications     

  • Degree qualification preferred. 

  • CII or significant progress towards CII qualification.
