About the Role:

 

Your main responsibility will be to facilitate organisational change by utilising specialised business analysis and change management skills, along with a disciplined business analysis approach. You will provide support to our internal stakeholders from our Mid Corp and Digital Trading Divisions.
 
Your role will involve articulating the need for change by defining requirements and recommending solutions that will maximise the value delivered. To successfully carry out your tasks, you will closely collaborate with key stakeholders across the business and IT. Additionally, you will contribute to the delivery of a diverse portfolio of work, while actively fostering effective relationships at all levels.

 

 

Key Accountabilities: 

  • Support the scoping of change initiatives, working within the Business Analysis Framework

  • Work with stakeholders at all levels within the organisation to elicit, define and manage business requirements, ensuring clear end-to-end traceability.
  • Ensure requirements are fully understood and approved by stakeholders, supporting Change Control and prioritisation.
  • Support the development, systems testing, user acceptance testing and implementation of solutions by working closely with solution partners, suppliers, and business stakeholders.
  • Learn from experiences and understand how benefits have been delivered by participating in retrospectives, lessons learnt and knowledge share sessions.

 

About You:

 

Skills and Experience:

  • You'll be passionate about the BA role and have worked on several change projects, utilising Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with experience of leading the work of others in a Project environment.

  • Experience of scoping, sizing and shaping Projects and initiatives.

  • Can apply recognised industry standard modelling techniques including data modelling and BPMN.

  • Good understanding of Business Change support activities, would be advantageous

  • Great stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels

  • Experience working in a Financial Services environment, particularly General Insurance is desirable, but not essential

  • An agile mindset, with a flexible and adaptable approach to delivering against business priorities.

Qualifications:

  • A Level education or equivalent (Essential)

  • BCS Diploma in Business Analysis or equivalent (Desirable)
