Who will you be joining? 


Allianz’s Group Compliance (GC) function is in charge of managing compliance risk to bolster Allianz's reputational and financial strength and to support value-focused company leadership. As such GC is responsible for monitoring and reporting on the Group's overall compliance risk profile, and thus ensuring that individual Allianz companies adhere to the Group's compliance governance principles. The Compliance function within Allianz strives for Group-wide effective and efficient compliance processes supported by global tools and solutions. Besides steering and monitoring the Group, GC is also acting as the Compliance function for Allianz SE.

 

This role is a key role, assisting the Group Compliance (GC) Head of Customer Protection/ AZSE solo office to manage the team in Customer Protection and also to represent GC in initiatives & projects with other group functions.  
 

How can you make an impact? 

 

  • Contributing to the establishment of Allianz’s customer protection strategy by preparing analysis on the laws and regulations and market practices in the key countries Allianz has presence;
  • Developing, maintaining and improving technical standards, guidelines and guidance on customer protection practices;
  • Analysing and having an overall enhanced OEs monitoring on customer protection relevant issues and cases;
  • Developing and conducting deep dives in customer protection focus areas and the retail risk indicators;
  • Assisting OEs in implementation of the customer protection relevant group requirements, monitoring and assessing the implementation status;
  • Conducting product reviews with other relevant group functions based on the requirements of the customer protection and relevant key risk indicators;
  • Promoting effective inter-functional cooperation through proactive sharing of information and involvement of the other functions where needed;
  • Representing Group Compliance at internal meetings as required and promoting the overarching principles and group requirements of Customer Protection;
  • Conducting various forms of customer protection training to OEs and/or any other group functions in 1st/2nd lines.
  • Assisting in Board of Management and any other relevant reports on customer protection;
  • Performing any other task assigned by the Group Compliance Head of Customer Protection and/or Group Chief Compliance Officer.


What are you made of?

 

  • University level degree in Law or Economics 
  • At least 10 years of experience in control functions or operations 
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking and strong attention to detail
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Very strong team spirit and self-motivation, 
  • Proactive and collaborative attitude and working style, as well as ability to interact in a global work environment and cooperate with stakeholders  from different countries and cultures
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to a fast-changing environment
  • Excellent English language skills (both written and spoken)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
