We are looking for you! We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented Strategic Procurement Officer (f/m/d) who will be responsible for Professional Services category strategy and relationship management globally. The position is based in our Frankfurt office.


Within this exciting role, you will be developing relevant category strategy with the respective partners, convert strategies into action plans and drive the execution of the objectives aligned with the business and company objectives.


Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement our procurement strategy in Professional Services (External Workforce) category contributing to our objectives
  • Improve and extend our current value chain including systems and contract negotiations as well as relationship management for all our major suppliers
  • Conduct sourcing activities, including but not limited to: Spend analysis, benchmarking, supply market analysis, vendor analysis, RFX building, negotiations, baseline analysis, contracting, building business cases, etc.
  • Develop proactively and drive cost reduction initiatives to meet the company targets and identify the best solutions to provide long-term value to the business
  • Manage end-to-end vendor lifecycle, including identification, onboarding, performance measurement, (strategic) development, relationship-management, offboarding
  • Ensure Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements (SLA) objectives by taking an active role in service delivery and continuous improvements
  • Optimize our supplier portfolio
  • Act as a key accountant manager delivering high value-adding services to our internal clients and act as first point of contact for various internal and external partners
  • Ensure reporting of projects results and communication at all levels by means of a vendor management system


Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • Degree in Business Administration, Legal, Finance, HR or related field of study
  • Proficiency in German and English
  • Experience in strategic buying, developing sourcing category strategies and implementing complex transactions in Professional Services, External Workforce category area
  • Experience in temporary labor, service level, and/ or customer service industry
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of negotiating cost savings from high volume deals
  • Ability to analyze markets and gather intelligence regarding market conditions and supply/ demand drivers
  • Strong relationship-management skills and proven track record in being able to strategically advise and drive internal business clients and their strategies
  • Solid awareness/ understanding of market trends and how to apply these trends to drive impactful sourcing strategies relevant to the professional services space
  • Proven experience in end-to-end procurement process management
  • Data entry, analytical and organizational skills as well as technical proficiency (MS Office, internet, VMS tools, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
