We are looking for you! We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented Project Manager/ Business Analyst Regulatory Change/ ESG (f/m/d) to help deliver projects around regulatory changes. The ideal candidate will have a good mix of project management skills, experience within the Investment Management Business and a high affinity to regulations (incl. Tax) as well as an understanding of the solutions for internal clients within the Operations Business. This position is based in either our Frankfurt or Paris office.

 

As part of a highly skilled, specialist team within Investment & Operations Change, you will be responsible for the oversight of regulatory change and developing the European Operations strategy & Target Operating Model (TOM) to align with regulations as well as implementing related initiatives & projects.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement projects to ensure compliance with regulations on a European level
  • Develop and implement operational infrastructure to support changes in industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Facilitate the assessment of regulatory rules on the impact to Operations, Business and IT
  • Moderate workshops across functional units and different management levels
  • Execute projects independently, i.e. taking ownership of project results and overall project success and acting as an internal management consultant
  • Actively support and contribute to different topics and projects at the same time and prioritize accordingly

 

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • Excellent university degree, preferably in a Business, Finance or Computer Science field
  • At least a first relevant (ideally 2 - 3 years +) experience in handling global financial industry regulatory reform initiatives within the Asset Management Industry
  • Knowledge of MiFID, EMIR, Derivatives clearing and collateral management is required, a first exposure to ESG/ SFDR, CSDR, DAC6 is a clear plus
  • Strong technical skills and familiarity with project management processes
  • Very good teammate with distinctive communication and presentation skills and high interpersonal competence, high motivation and positive work attitude
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across functions such as Portfolio Management, IT, Sales and with service providers
  • Highly organized, attention to detail, excellent follow through skills and ability to work independently and empower a team
  • Proficiency in English, additional European language skills are a plus
