We are searching for you! We are currently hiring an innovative and open-minded Senior Finance Business Partner for our growing Private Markets business. In this exciting role, you will leverage your extensive experience with advanced financial analytics & planning and will report to the Co-Head of Business Partnering. You will work closely with different Finance teams and business functions with a clear focus on supporting our Private Markets business.

 

This role can be filled either in Frankfurt or in Munich.

 

Role & Responsibilities

 

  • Act as a senior advisor on all financial aspects of the Private Markets business; this includes run as well as change activities
  • Ensure proper tracking of Private Markets AuM, flows, commitments and related revenues/ expenses on an ongoing basis
  • Define, provide and use suitable financial reporting to enable effective performance management and drive business decisions
  • Improve business steering by providing next level financial analytics in close alignment with the functional counterpart, other Business Partners and FP&A; follow-up on actions
  • Support efficient and effective dynamic budgeting and budgeting & planning process for business functions applying financial knowledge as well as broader business insights
  • Facilitate smooth interaction with global as well as regional stakeholders of business function while also challenging them and being sparring partner
  • Contribute to global Finance projects as required

 

Key requirements/ Skills/ Experience

 

Required:

  • Experience and understanding of the Private Markets sector required, especially focussing on fund stuctures, revenue and committment reporting, Carried Interest plans and other sector specifics
  • Outstanding academic credentials: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, graduate finance degree and/or CFA preferred
  • Ideally approx. 5+ years’ experience in financial planning and analysis and/ or business management in the asset management industry
  • First class analytical skills paired with the ability to present the analytics in an inspiring manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills, curiosity, team-player spirit; proven ability to multi-task, manage priorities and cope with pressure
  • Excellent communication skills and desire to further self-develop
  • Expert-level Excel, PowerPoint, proficiency with SAP (ERP, BI)
  • Fluency in English (command of additional languages is a plus)

 

Preferred:

  • Strong PowerBI skills and experience with developing and implementing new reporting options
