Job Purpose:

Provide accurate accounting administration and cash flows regarding quality, quantity and adherence to delivery dates concerning insurance business with AGCS clients, local brokers, and insurers. This includes reconciliation of cash/claim suspense accounts, Receivables reconciliations to feeder systems (balancing and resolution of differences), account analysis, and other relevant ad hoc activities (e.g., process improvements, user acceptance testing, etc.).

 

Responsibilities:

In this role you will…

  • Ensure that all assigned accounts receivables/payables and cash/claims suspense account reconciliations are prepared timely and accurately.
  • Identify and analyze all account differences and liaise with internal and external customers onshore and offshore to ensure that all items are booked correctly and differences are resolved in a professional manner and on a timely basis.
  • Prepare monthly cash, receivables/payables and other account reconciliations and book related journal entries.
  • Work collaboratively with other Functional areas (e.g., Operations, Accounting, Claims, and SSU) in establishing processes and accuracy completeness controls.

 

To be successful in the role:

You will have….

  • Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance or Business;
  • General Accounting skills;
  • Experience with month-end close activities;
  • Experience with SAP;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Solid computer literacy, with advanced proficiency in Excel, including knowledge of MS Office software (e.g., Word and PowerPoint);
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Ability to take on new tasks with a high level of difficulty;
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment; and
  • Ability to adapt to change.
