We are seeking aspiring Finance Bachelor’s graduates, to support the Risk Management and Analytics, and join our fast-paced, customer-focused CFO Team.
The ideal candidate will be an intellectually curious, team-minded contributor. You will spend the first 12 months in Risk Management in a corporate setting and participating in projects. You will also support the Senior Risk Analysts and Regional Head of Risk Management North America in tasks that contribute to the robustness of the Allianz Risk Management Framework in the North American Region.

During your first year of employment, you will participate in the Graduate Program which is a 12-month professional development program designed to attract, develop and retain the next generation of insurance professionals. The Program will support your growth as a well-rounded technical expert and potential future leader at Allianz Commercial.
Key Program elements include:
- Employment begins mid-July 2025 and the Program starts in early August of 2025
- Time is split between structured learning curriculum and on the job experiential learning
- Opportunity to gain a broad base of industry knowledge, function specific expertise as well as personal and professional skills development
- Ensuring that risks are effectively managed in terms of identification, measurement, and setting of an adequate risk appetite for topics within AGCS North America region and in contribution to global risk management topics. This includes conducting and reviewing business areas of concern, communication and reporting risk topics to the Head of Risk Management NA.
- Management, monitoring and reporting of top risks, including key risk indicators and mitigation plans for identified deficiencies/gaps.
- Active involvement in driving a strong governance process.
- Interactions with the business on risk steering topics including derivation of mitigation plans/actions.
- Qualitative and quantitative risk management, incl. risk identification, risk assessment, risk analysis, control assessment.
- Responsible for preparation of standard and ad-hoc management reports.

What You’ll Bring to the Role
- Recently completed university degree
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
- Finance and Insurance know-how (ideally P&C) as well as understanding of complexities inherent in an insurance group (consolidation processes, legal vs management view) allowing for cross-departmental thinking and acting.
- Handle qualitative and quantitative risk assessment
- Knowledge of risk measurement techniques following Group policies and guidelines.
- Knowledge of risk profiles of local OE taking into account ORM/SOX, Credit risk, Insurance risk and Financial Risk, and compliance with Group policies
- Eligibility to work in local hiring office (US or Canada)
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to grasp and resolve complex issues independently with a proactive "can-do" attitude.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships.
- Professional Growth: Willingness to pursue certifications in financial risk management such as FRM or PRM.
- Deliverables and Deadlines: Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- Technical Proficiency and Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Advanced Excel and Power BI) and relevant experience in risk management, finance, or quantitative disciplines through internships, academic projects, or employment.
This job pays a salary $69,000 per year. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
