About the Job 

 

Would you like to play an active role as a Software Engineer (m/f/d) in the digital transformation of Allianz and work on international projects? We are looking for a Software developer with a strong knowledge of Adobe tool stack. We work in agile teams that live the agile values to build applications with real customer value.

 

 

In our "Digital Sales" tribe, we operate allianz.de and are continually developing the Allianz website in Germany. In addition, the Tribe includes other portals and platforms that we manage. If you are creative, curious and willing to familiarize yourself independently with new technologies, we should get to know each other!

 

 

What you do

 

  • Together with your team, you are actively developing Allianz Germany's digital marketing platform based on Adobe's Experience Manager, in frontend and / or fullstack
  • In the agile team setup, you will clarify dependencies of your user story cross-functionally and implement it according to the "definition of done" and present it in the sprint review
  • You enrich and challenge architectural discussions and ensure "clean code" aligned with the acceptance criteria
  • You conduct performance analysis and optimize accordingly
  • You bring a proactive mind-set, ability to share your ideas and bring them to life

 

 

 

What you bring

 

  • Deep understanding of AEM’s underlying technology stack (OSGi, JCR, Apache Sling) and strong knowledge of Java and Web technologies
  • 5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Spring Boot
  • Familiar with Jenkins, Maven, and GitHub, with experience in pair programming and code reviews
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies and/or DevOps
  • Good problem-solving skills, distinctive interest in requirement analysis and an open mind always looking for continuous improvement
  • Experience in pair programming and code reviews, with 5+ years of experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) component development and extensive experience in AEM-based projects
  • English proficiency at B2/C1 level
